Parker is a thriving community situated southeast of Denver in eastern Douglas County. The community offers 200 acres of parkland, 400 acres of open space, 12 miles of paved pathways, and the 1,000 square-foot field house, which is climate controlled and features an indoor sports turf field, four-court gymnasium, indoor in-line hockey rink, and fitness loft.

Residential real estate includes newer tract homes and reasonably priced property in sub-areas such as Stonegate as well as moderately priced homes in the wooded Pinery area and the upscale and luxury-priced Timbers neighborhood, located further down highway 83.
