Located a short distance southwest of Denver, Littleton was settled during the Colorado gold rush of 1859. An agricultural community until World War II, Littleton has retained its long-standing beauty and rural charm. "Old Town Littleton" holds the historical appeal of the neighborhood with boutiques, art galleries and restaurants.

Among the area's attractions are the newly renovated Littleton Historical Museum, featuring a "living history" experience with a working farm, as well as Hudson Gardens, which offers exquisite xeriscape floral displays and outdoor events such as concerts and community fairs. The Douglas H. Buck Recreations Community Center draws exercise aficionados of all ages with everything from a fitness center to basketball courts and swimming.
