Belcaro
Belcaro Neighborhood Information
Only 15 minutes from downtown Denver and very close to the Cherry Creek shopping center, Belcaro is a beautiful and fashionable neighborhood with a great location. It contains an alluring mix of old and new architecture, centering on the jewel historic Phipps Mansion, a 54 room red brick beauty built by U.S. Senator Lawrence C. Phipps in 1932. This centerpiece contributes to the genuine historic and prestigious feel of the neighborhood. The majorities of the homes are from the 1950’s and 1960’s and range in price from $300,000 to well into the millions. There are also huge new custom homes that range from one to five million. Most of the homes are ranches which reflect the style of when they were built. Commuting from Belcaro is a breeze because of its superb location and easy access to I-25 and the light rail, and it is just south of the Cherry Creek Mall, one of the best shopping centers in Colorado. Belcaro is a historic and exquisite neighborhood highlighted by its large beautiful houses and convenient location. It borders Colorado Boulevard on the east, Tennessee Boulevard on the south, and Steele Street on the west.
