Cherry Creek

Cherry Creek Neighborhood Information

If you thought Aspen was the only luxurious town in Colorado, you were wrong! Older than Denver itself, Cherry Creek is fashionable, upscale and thriving. Located 10 minutes south of downtown, it is perhaps the most exclusive Denver neighborhood. Cherry Creek is home to hundreds of shops, boutiques, art galleries, salons, spas, restaurants, and everything else that caters to pampering.

The Cherry Creek “enclosed” mall contains some of the most extravagant shopping in the Denver area, including department stores Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom, as well as luxury/couture shops such as Burberry, Calvin Klein, Coach, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany and Co. Cherry Creek North’s outdoor shopping district offers an additional 16 city blocks of upscale boutiques, art galleries, spas and restaurants. The community also boasts a 22-mile path (aptly named the “Cherry Creek Path”) and hosts multiple events that are well-attended by Colorado residents, such as the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and Films on Fillmore in the summertime, and ice skating at the Cherry Creek North Ice Rink in the winter.

Real Estate Snapshot

Architectural diversity is on full display in Cherry Creek, and most real estate is quite luxurious (translation: expensive). Relatively scarce, single family homes start in the $800,000′s. Newer and spectacular condominiums and townhomes are also available, and more continue to be built. Cherry Creek’s close proximity to Denver, architectural diversity, shopping and cultural events make the square footage worth every penny!
